Classic & Collector Car Repair in Belmont, CA
Keeping older cars running properly, not just running. Carburettors, points, mechanical injection and drum brakes need a different set of hands than a modern car — and parts that are increasingly hard to find.
Quoted per job. Classic work is difficult to price blind because what a car needs is often only clear once it’s on the lift — we’ll look at it, tell you what we find, and price it before anything starts.

FAQ
Got more questions?
My car has been sitting for years. Where do you start?
With brakes, fuel and tyres, before it moves under its own power. Old fuel turns to varnish, brake fluid absorbs water and rubber perishes whether the car is driven or not. We recommission in that order so the first drive is a safe one, then work through what the car actually needs.
Do you keep the car original, or update it?
Your call, and we’ll tell you what each choice costs you. Some owners want everything correct to the year; others want electronic ignition and a five-speed so the car gets driven. Both are legitimate — the mistake is doing one when you wanted the other.
Can you find parts for something obsolete?
Usually. Between the specialist suppliers, the marque communities and fabricating what genuinely no longer exists, most things are solvable. Where a part would need making rather than buying, we’ll say so up front, because it changes both the cost and the timeline.
Is this different from restoration?
Yes. Repair keeps a running car running and fixes what’s wrong. Restoration takes a car apart and brings it back to a standard. If you want the second, that’s our full restoration service — and plenty of cars start as one and become the other once we’ve looked properly.
Will you work on a car you haven’t seen before?
Almost certainly. The principles carry across, and where a marque has a specific quirk we research it before we start rather than learning on your car. If something is genuinely outside what we should take on, we’ll tell you and point you at someone better placed.
What areas do you serve?
We serve clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area from our shop in Belmont, CA. Get in touch to confirm availability for your location.
What brands of products do you use?
Only top-tier, industry-recognised brands. We’ll tell you exactly which product line we’re proposing and why before any work starts.
Do you repair all vehicle types?
European and exotic cars are the core of what we do, but we handle a wide range of vehicles. Send us your year, make and model and we’ll tell you straight away.
